Blue Is The Colour, Football Is The Game

Chelsea v. Aston Villa

Stamford Bridge Stadium, Chelsea v. Aston Villa

We have some pretty rad pals. Last night they surprised (and delighted) us with tickets to a Chelesa v. Aston Villa football (in America: a.k.a. soccer) game. I guess it's nearly impossible to secure tickets to a game most of the time - Chelsea has a seriously loyal season ticket holding fan base. This was a special game where season-ticket-holders have to purchase a ticket to get in, like everyone else. Every seat in the stadium was filled...and I think we may have had the best seats in the house. Any closer and we'd have felt the breeze from the field. I've never seen anything like this crowd...rowdy, rough full grown men chanting, fighting and belting out every fight-song in the Chelsea book. A few choice cheers I'm sure they've added themselves (exceptionally colorful lyrics). I think it's turned us into true Chelsea fans!

The videos might make you a little sick to your stomach...David is advised to get the puke bucket ready, prior to viewing.

Eli and Eve really liked the videos. It looked a lot like one of Eli's games except Eli says his were "cooler". I'm not so sure about that.
