I was a little sad that you couldn't be by my side today so you could hear and see what we enjoyed today as we shared your good news with our ward family. When Granny shared the good news in the "What's Up" segment in RS. (it is a moment before the lesson where anyone can share good news or new happenings in their family), the ladies all cheered like they just won the World Series. Brenda Iden said.. would you like to see the baptism? She took Granny and a whole group down to the Family History computers. As they all huddled around the monitor, she showed them the pictures and message on the Blog. It was touching to see the teary eyes along with mine. Uncle Rich expressed his testimony of the love of our Heavenly Father for all those searching for the truth as he expressed his gratitude for the willingness of Shawn to listen and follow the promptings of the Lord. Daddy was tender as he shared his feelings in the talk he had to give Saturday nt. of how important all God's children are to him and he hears and answers the prayers of the desires of our hearts. We felt the support and love of everyone and want you to feel that too.. even if it is over the "blog".. Love you, Mom and Dad
