Hey everyone!!! It's been a VERY long time. Sorry about that. I'm thankful that we're not graded for blogging. Yikes, I would've been expelled by now.
Kelli, Happy B-Lated Birthday!!! We love looking at all of the cool shots from Hawaii. I want to do Iron Man. I'd get wasted.
London is getting really chilly right now. I keep pretending like it's still summer when I go outside in my t-shirt, but it doesn't take long for people to stare at me like I'm a crazy loon. I'd say it's low 40's, high 30's. Brrrrrr!!!! I just threw an iron on my winter coat today. Nicole and I heard it snowed in Wyoming. That sounds really beautiful from this side of the ocean. I think London only gets a few snows a year. They're already putting up Christmas trees on Oxford Circus and Picadilly St. Currently, we're on the hunt for new scarfs.
On the work front, there is good news FINALLY pouring in!!! Still no money, but man, there's alot of passion.(ha ha) The first piece of good news is that we have some very interested industry from a well-known British record label. They house only a few bands, which means we, potentially, will get a little more attention. And they found us, which is always better than the other way around. Secondly, which I think will excite Virginia, is that we're going in to record with a producer by the name of PEDRO. He produced the last Darkness album, with the huge radio hit that was entitled 'A Thing Called Love' about 2 summers ago. I just remember Steve and Virginia loved that song. Sony thinks that we have a couple of singles so hopefully Pedro will be able to maneuver a HIT out of us. Hits can change lives. That's what we're hoping for.
On another exciting note, I'm getting baptized into the LDS church on Saturday by Elder Checketts. Nicole will speak on faith and sing a song. Elder Checketts' dad managed the New York Knicks in the mid-90's. He's such a cool guy.
So...I just want to thank everyone so much for shining the gospel in my life over the last five yrs. My life has changed by leaps and bounds from when I was pre-Nicole. It's been a slow and gentle transformation, but I can honestly say that I've found the most happiness and truthfulness from the Church of Jesus Christ.
I hope everyone is having a good start to November. I'm homesick and can't wait to come home. Nicole's latest truffles are the most amazing little chocolates I've ever tasted. Seriously, you guys would be so proud of her. It's crazy to think that it's all made inside of this tiny little room. Love you guys.
