This are a little old but better late then never. A few weeks ago we went down south to the black sand beach. The sand is made out of the lava rock. Its really amazing it feels just like regular sand. Isaac is a sand taster and you can tell from his expression that he enjoys black sand the best. It made for some interesting diapers the few days following our trip to the beach.
