Hey All...
Just sitting at the Internet cafe, missing home. The efficient English will perhaps install our Internet in 2-3 weeks, if we are lucky - so for now, we walk to a seedy little Internet cafe a few blocks from our flat. Never mind - we LOVE our little place. I can't even tell you how nice it is. We have two big windows (the envy of all our neighbors), a brand new refrigerator, brand new washer, new vertical blinds, clean white walls and floors, a very comfortable roll-away bed and our very own bathroom (also the envy of 75% of all London-ers). Our land-lord seems very nice too. We live near Fulham Broadway Tube Station: host to the Chelsea Football Club and Stadium. Aside from the occasional evening "tackle" by a drunk fan - we find it very nice. Our pals Paul and Angela Weimer live only 5-10 minutes (by foot) away. It takes 30-35 minutes or so for me to walk to work - so I usually take bus 14 to work (only a five minute ride) and walk home. I'm not quite sure of what to make of work, just yet. I think I'll give it a little more time before I make up my mind. We expect some exciting things to materialize for Shawn's band this week-end though!
I was so excited to hear about little Amalia Condie! What a sweet little blessing!
We miss you all...hope spring is coming for you soon! The magnolia trees here bloom in blossoms the size of your open hand. So beautiful.
