Hey Everyone.
Just wanted to pop round and say hello. I was looking at the blog this morning and was so amazed at how much little Iris is growing. She's so beautiful. I love the birthday cake clip!! And Aubrey Lynn is absolutely adorable. Congratulations you guys!!! That's such a pretty name.
Nicole and I are feeling SUPER HOMESICK. London is fun, but the city has a way of beating us up after a while. You guys would laugh so hard if you could see the tiny white flat we're living in. It's like one 'NOT SO BIG' kitchen. We're always knocking each other over. (ha ha) And the white floors...PAIN. I'm a buddhist monk over here...on my hands and knees everyday with my little dustpan, cleaning up everything visible. Rumor is, black floors are even worse. But, that said, we love having our own little place and it's so nice being away from 'THE PEOPLE DOWNSTAIRS."
We finally signed a record deal. Although, there is still no proof of it, if you know what I mean. (ha ha) Still waitin' around for that. We feel really good about La Volta though. They have scheduled the RLC album release for March of 2008. We'll have a couple of singles running up to that around the New Year. And there's been some talk that we'll be going to N.y.C to record the first album sometime in July or August with a producer by the name of FLOOD. Super exciting!!! The new material is sounding really great, too.
A couple of weeks back, RLC performed at the London Hyde Park Ward for the Young Men. It was really cool. We talked to the kids about the music industry and then played a couple of songs. Nicole got it on film so here it is:

We are homesick for you, too. We haven't heard how things are going for so long we LOVED your post. It was great to hear how you are and even see you! We send our love and blessings your way. Hey congratulations with everything. WE are so happy for you and hope it is a great deal for you. We are with you on the homesickness. We are ready to pack our bags and head towards home.Our place doesn't sound as small as yours but... we have three kids and I'm going crazy. Take care!
