Some of you guys heard we had a fun camping trip a while back. We went to the Curt Gowdy State Park and fished and camped till we dropped. Thought we would put a few pictures of our fun. Of course Steven did more fishing than the rest of us but we didn't get any pictures of him in his boat. Iris tried doing a little test driving and riding at the same point. And we really enjoyed camp fire meals too. Virginia made scalloped potates with sausage and smores while Steven cooked fish and breakfast burritos. Best thing about it we only we bit 15 times by mosquitos as a total for all of us. That's not a bad number for three people over two day camp.
Steven has been studying hard for the upcoming DAT. He is scheduled to take it July 28th in Casper. He has been traveling back and forth between Laramie and Boulder, three times a week. He has also finished one summer kinesiology classes and is working on a technical writing course.
Steven is also starting to dip into other time consuming things here too. He started a job with the Cathedral Home for Children. He has worked with some adolestent trouble youth and also worked with the deaf cottage. He has enjoyed using more advanced ASL with the boys. We got a kick out of it when they asked to speak with Iris and she actually could. They are really good to more or less let him assign his own hours also.
Our cleaning business is coming along well. We not really staying busy (this is good) but are able to do about 2-3 jobs a month. This has been really handy for all the gas money that has been going out to and from Boulder.
Iris has been having fun this summer and has a little tan going. We have gone swimming at the outdoor toddler pool. While we were camping she actually caght a little fish on her line and we help reel it in. If you haven't asked her what a fish... and a camel say, you'de get a kick out of it. She learned a few new words and has learned how to dribble from watching Steve's games. If you need a cheerleader she is able to yell,"Go Dad Go!" She has in a whole mouth full of teeth now and so she is eating everything. In fact she out-eats both of us quite frequently.
Virginia has been watching little ones again at our home. She has had some of the troubles with alergies lately, but I think we have the most pollenated trees in town right outside our door. Tending the little ones has kept her busy and happy. She has been looking into going to school full-time for this upcoming Fall but is having a hard time getting advisors to work with her to get courses registered. Her older brother, Charalie has a new little girl now, and her older sister Jaqualyn is expecting any day soon.
Anyway... here are the pictures we promised. We miss you all and hope you are doing well.

P.S. We love all the blog-news we read about you guys. Hope Eli and Eve had a good birthday and get stronger and healthier everyday.

Way cute you guys. Looks like you had lots of fun. We love the pictures.
Loved the "run-down" of your summer. What perfect pictures! You are brave to go camping for 2 days with a "little minnow" and an addicted fish(er). After hearing the menu, I want to go camping with you guys. Love you, Mom
