The seasons are changing here in Laramie so we are getting to do different things. If you haven't heard the stories yet, Steven had a long and exausting but fun hunting trip. He went to Ecampment, WY and ended up getting snowed in the first time. He decided to going hunting with/ for a gentleman in our older ward. Brother Burgess was our second conselor of spring creek ward and just had back surgery and was unable to do anything but sit in the truck and watch. Steve shot a good size four point elk in a really tight spot. The guys he was hunting with were wanting to bring in horses but the location he shot the elk was not accessable even to bring a trailor in to the closest road. They ended hanging the elk in a tree untill they could come back later. He left again to retrive it right before the weather got bad. It took almost 12 hours of to pack it out and get it to the truck. Bro. Burgess said he wanted to take care of the packing/preparing cost and told steven to take half of the meat & the antlers if he wanted. He asked for a quarter & as you can see the antlers also.
Iris and I did school and housework and played in the snow. She was so proud of the snow man, she built she carried it to right infront of our apartment. The snow was light and fluffy and didn't stick well so we have a snowman that was smaller than Iris. We also had fun playing inside with the little ones I watch during the week.
School is getting more intense but we are at the half way mark. We both have been working on midterms this week. Here are some pictures that we took to share. Since we probably won't be going to the World Series we hope we can do something else fun. Hope all is well with everyone. Take care.
