I've had a great summer so far. We just got back from the Allstar tournament in Torrington, Wy. We spent all week playing teams from around Wyoming. On the days we didn't play or after the game Mom and I (Dad came up then went home until we started the single elimination games.) checked out Fort Laramie, the pioneer wagon ruts in the rock near Gurnsey, the signatures carved into Register Cliff and Mom and I paddled around in the mud puddle left in Gurnsey Reservoir.
Even more fun than that was that we played as many ballgames as the tournament champion, Laramie. We beat Gillette to take 3rd place. I hit almost every time I got up to bat and played center & left field and caught the balls that came my way. It was fun and I learned alot of baseball.
After I got back, I went to Jackson for a Science Camp and spent 3 days learning about the plants and animals and geography of the Tetons. I saw a bald eagle when we hiked in the mountains.

Congratulations on the tournament! We wish we could've been there! I've never seen an eagle in London... but we do have flying rats (pigeons), and lots of um!
