Dad won a trip to Vegas to go to the National Builders Show. It was fun to look forward to sneeking down to the warm in the winter. It was about as warm here with 55 degree temperatures this winter. It was 65 ish but it was beautiful and not too hot and not too cold. The show filled 3 convention halls that were at least 2 football fields long and across. It was fun to see all the new stuff that is coming out. We went to 3 Vegas shows that were all a kick. We took a tour of Hoover Dam. They took us even down underground to see the generators that make electricity from the water. It was impressive to say the least. They are now building a bridge across the gorge...that is pretty impressive, too. Deb and Rich came with us, so we had a fun time together. The last night we went to a medival show at Excallibur where we cheer you with our mugs of Coke. We ate with our fingers and watched the knights of the roundtable dual with the evil dragon knight (that was our section... we are great boooers). I had a great time but I can't deny, I am so glad to be home. What a heavenly place is home. ...
