OK... Unlike the rest of you "blogging whizzes" I don't know how to do those cool slideshows or flipping books. I tried .. but I don't have any more HOURS to devote to something that I can't get to go once I enter all the stuff. (Aarrgg..I don't know how you do it! )
Anyway, we had a wonderful time, saw gorgeous country (much of it looks alot like our own Wyoming). We started off at the Iditarod birthplace and got to go on dogsled rides.

We went to a Alaskan Zoo and saw polar bears up close. We got an a boat and rode out to where we could see the humpback whales feeding in groups of 15!
The Carnival Boat we were on is the one with the tail.
We spent the 4th of July at a BBQ at our cousins in Juneau. It was a kick to see all those friends and enjoyed being part of the "family".
In Ketchikan, we saw the totom poles made by Alaskan Natives and saw carvers making replicas. We made our own version of a totom pole (no one was willing to hoyst dad and mom on their shoulders for a taller pole)

We even stopped and drank the glacier water from this stream.

Phil and Dave's favorite thing was the mini-golf course..they played in the rain with the ship going 21 knots ... it adds to the challenge. We had a great time and will remember the fun we had together forever.
