Puppies

Okay- So I wanted to wait to do a post on the puppies when they were a little older, cuter and I could take pictures of them with the kids holding them (we have a no holding puppies until eyes are open rule.) But.... I sprained my ankle, I'm trying like mad to entertain myself while sitting on my butt and not start picking up all the toys on the ground that are bugging me so- I guess now is a good time.

You all know we have two beautiful labs, a boy and a girl and we thought: You know 2+2= 8. Lets let them have puppies! The above picture is our beautiful dog Bella in labor. I felt so bad for her the whole time.

After 20 hours of labor- yuck- she had 8 puppies!

There are 3 yellow (all boys) 3 black (2 girls 1 boy), and two chocolate (both girls) That makes 4 boys 4 girls. We like things even at out house.

And here is one of the chocolate ones a little after she was born. They are over a week old now so I will have to post more pictures soon. They are soooooo cute. We all wish we could keep on- but we aren't!
