Hello everyone,
We were just thinking we haven't added very much to this blog in a while. We thought we could update you on our family and you could do the same.
Steven has been very busy at school. He seems to be stressed most the time if you ask but has done well on all his testing and often is leading his problem-based learning group (PBL) in discussion. Recently he and his classmates and all other Pittsburgher PA students were asked to brigde the gap of health care. Each year, Pittsburgh ask PA students to join hands that extend all the way across the Roberto Clemente Bridge by the large Priates baseball feild. It was even more fun to see it because they had a huge kayaking competition going on that day. We put a picture of this brigde during the day and a night veiw from our incline ride.
Iris is loving Pittsburgh. She makes new friends everyday. She has a preschool teacher that comes to our house every Friday and brings a lesson and activities to get her ready for kindergarden next year. She has playgroup with all of the other kids taught in their homes, on Mondays. We did get to visit the zoo but didn't get to see the whole thing. We kinda rushed through because it was a free day!
Since I get to look through Steven junk emails, I notice that his school did $3 rides on the Clipper (the big riverboat). We took an hour ride and saw some sights of old and new Pittsburgh. Steven has some great pictures but I am not able to get to them. I included one of our family on the dock and another by his school. We are looking forward to having another Gard join our family in the upcoming 2-3 weeks. Hope everyone is doing well. We love and miss you all.
